Board of Directors

PLEASE NOTE: All the Board members of Capitol City Medical Teams serve on a voluntary basis and therefore receive no compensation for their services.

JIM TRETT, President Jim Trett is a 34 year veteran of the Keizer Fire Department in Keizer, Oregon. He began his career as a volunteer firefighter/emergency medical technician before being named as the Public Information Relations Specialist for the Department. He also has an extensive background in broadcast radio as an on air personality and a radio news reporter. He has also been in commercial production.

He has served and continues to serve as an advocate for youth by serving as the Public Relations Coordinator for several area non-profit organizations including the Willamette Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Salem Soap Box Derby, and the Mount Hood Ski Patrol. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Salem Boys and Girls Club and was a founding member of the Salem-Keizer chapter. He served on the Executive Council of the Mount Hood Ski Patrol.

For his community involvement the Keizer Chamber of Commerce named Mr. Trett as their 2006 Outstanding Educator of the Year and it was the first time this award was given to a non-classroom teacher. He has been honored twice as the Mount Hood Ski Patrol First Aid Instructor of the Year. He was the 2004 recipient of the Oregon Office of the State Fire Marshal's Golden Sparky Award.

PAMELA OLSON, Director Pamela Olson is an advocate for people with disabilities. She has served as a board member with Residential Alternative Housing, a non-profit housing facility for people with disabilities. She has served as a case manager for the non-profit organization People with Disabilities. In her professional career she has also worked as an urban planner.

VALERIE BELL, Treasurer Valerie Bell is the owner/operator of K-Star Rentals in Sublimity, Oregon. She was an educator for 10 years in Stayton, Oregon, and is a real estate agent for Keller Williams Realty of Corvallis, Oregon.

CHARLOTTE SMITH, Secretary Charlotte Smith is a loan coordinator for Mortgage First in Salem. She has also worked for the Oregon Board of Realtors.

PAT MONSON, Vice-President Pat Monson was the principal at Liberty Elementary School in the Greater Albany School District. She has been working in the field of education for 35 years. She retired in 2008. She has served on the advisory board of Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA).




Leadership

ERIC MILLER, Chief Executive Officer Eric Miller is currently a teacher and certified administrator in the Salem-Keizer School District. He has taught for more than 22 years. He has owned several small businesses including Alpine Laundry Company, Kinnelon Medical Center, Inc., and Kunstbau, LLC. He has served on several non-profit boards including St. Mark Lutheran Church, Oregon Odyssey of the Mind, the Salem-Keizer Education Association, and the Santiam Uniserv Council. He also does trainings to non-profit board members regarding their legal responsibilities.
